Fifth-generation butcher Doug, keeps his blade sharp and his business even sharper. Karl’s Meat Market has been in business since 1966, and current owner Doug has been working at the market since his teenage years. It’s in his blood, his great-great-grandfather was a butcher in Holland and the profession has been in his family ever since. After purchasing the market from his father (Karl) in 2006, Doug has been hard at work carving out his own place in the family business.

Times are tough (unlike the meats at Karl’s Meat Market), but Doug continues to adapt to these times by following rigid protocols to ensure the safety of all his staff and patrons. Implementing proper social distancing and limited occupancy, ensures all visitors are able to access the same quality products and receive the same level of customer service they’ve grown accustomed to. Karl’s Meat Market has also quickly adapted by adding a new online store to allow customers to shop from the comfort and safety of their homes.
