Did you know 98% of all apples from BC are produced in the Okanagan? It’s only fitting that these three friends, Robin, Luke and Mike, opened their cidery in the heart of Summerland.
Dominion Cider Co. is a branch-to-bottle cidery focused on bringing the rich Okanagan heritage apple flavour to life. With more than 10 different categories of cider, they’re not afraid to play around with ingredients and offer in-house tasters, a fun experience with their “experimental series.”
Their cidery focuses on sustainability and transparency. They raise and harvest a large variety of heirloom cider apples right from their property in Summerland. Because they can avoid outsourcing many ingredients, they’re able to pickle the apples, press the juices, bottle it, and serve the cider all on-site.
Dominion Cider Co. is open Thursdays to Mondays at 10216 Gould Avenue, Summerland for tastings and sales. The picturesque countryside and modern vibe of this cidery is a perfect spot to grab a shot for Instagram and quench your thirst.
